Back to School Book

Come join Caroline Miller and make a fun school scrapbook to store all your children's school keepsakes! This book is constructed of a clipboard and office folders. You will also learn different techniques on using grunge board, Tim Holtz inks, paints, and crackle medium. The class will be on Saturday, August 9 from 1-4 pm. Hope to see you there!

Class Fun!

Initially Yours was a blast earlier this week. Most of the ladies decided to take them home to add a few personal embellishments such as buttons from their grandmothers stash and family photos. I love the idea of adding family heirlooms to any project! It was so fun to see each of their personal styles! If you didn't get to take this class and you wanted to, you're in luck. We decided to teach it again on Wednesday, August 20th from 6-8!

The new accordion file folder book

Hi again its time for a new class, the accordion file folder book. This book is a unique class that will be taught by Caroline Miler on July 12 from 1-5pm. The cost is $48.00. This class builds a book with office folders and chip board and the lovely Jenni Bowlin and Teresa Collins papers. This is a great way to store all your loose leaf papers, your child's artwork or paper scrap booking supplies. Come join us for a fun filled day of creating!

Breakfast Club cancelled during Summer

Hey ladies, since Family Scrapbook Studio is doing the Summer Kids camp class during the day through the summer, we are going to put the Breakfast Club on hold until the fall. Thank you to those who have been showing up, it's been a lot fun!

CREATE class (Computer Style)

Come check out the new computer class that Family Scrapbook Studio is offering, taught by Eva Flake. This class is for anyone who has ever seen a cute card, handout or scrapbook page and wonder "How did they do that?" This class will teach you how to type your text to read sideways, in a circle or even layer them. Expect to learn shapes, text boxes, word art and more. You will learn tips and tricks for customizing color and sizing.

This class will be presented with a laptop being set up in the lab with a projector so that all of the students can watch each step as it is being taught. The class will be taught using a PC in Microsoft Word. If you are a Mac user and have Microsoft Word, still come! The instructions are easily adaptable.

These are my new baby books I will be teaching at Family Scrapbook Studio on Saturday, June 28 from 1pm-5pm. My name is Caroline Miller, I am a new teacher at Family Scrapbook studio, and I am excited to share these books with you. These books are full of the new Basic grey paper lines and the new self adhesive chip board shapes. On the front of the books are Pottery Barn Kids wooden letters, so fun! These books allow you to document the first twelve months of a baby's life with journaling spots and space to place a photo. If you are interested in this project call the store to sign up or you can see the project in person at the store, please specify if you want the "boy" or "girl" book. Thanks for looking!
